What is an electric vehicle?
Electric vehicles (EVs) or battery-charged vehicles do not have an internal combustion engine and use an electric motor to induce power. The electric vehicles use a large traction battery pack to run the electric motor. To charge the motor, you need to plug it into an EVSE (Electric vehicle supply equipment) or wall outlet.
