Hero maintained its number 1 position in the top 10 Electric 2W Sales July 2022
Sales of the top 10 electric 2W climbed by 6 % MoM and by 247% YoY. Sales increased from 11,425 units sold in July 2022 to 39,755 units sold in the previous month. It was an increase in the volume of 28,330 units.
On the other hand, MoM sales grew by 2,117 units from the 37,638 units sold in June 2022. With the exception of Ather, every manufacturer on this list has reported a YoY increase. Revolt, Ather, Ampere, and Ola all of them reported lower MoM sales.
In July 2022, Hero Electric ranked first on this list. Sales totaled 8,953 units, up from 4,223 units sold in July 2021 by 108.05 percent YoY. The firm controls 19.85 percent of the market. Sales in June 2022 totaled 6,504 units, representing a rise of 37% MoM while the market share was at 17%.
July 2022’s Top 10 Electric 2W Sales
Sales of electric two-wheelers in Okinawa, which came in at No. 2, increased by 213% to 8,093 units in July 2022 from 2,580 units in July 2021. With a 20 percent market share, the company had a volume gain of 5,513 units. Sales in June 2022 totaled 6,984 units, an increase of 16% month over month.
Ampere, which was ranked third, sold 6,313 units in July 2022, an increase of 860 percent over the 657 units it sold in July 2021. In the previous month, the share percentage dropped to 15.88 from the 17.38 percent it had in June 2022, when sales had totaled 6,541 units, a 3.50 percent MoM decline.
