OLA Electric is all set to launch its new product on 15th August
OLA electric keeps on announcing its news very frequently. It will make its upcoming product announcement on the occasion of 15th August 2022, India’s 75th Independence Day. There are some rumors that it could be the company’s first electric car, though Ola Electric has not confirmed anything so far.
On the same day last year, in 2021, Ola debuted its Ola S1-series EV 2-wheelers- electric scooters. Now, the company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, giving us a hint at its upcoming major product launch through a new tweet.
According to his tweet, he is super excited to announce its new product on the upcoming 15th of August. He added furthermore that they will tell more about them later on the same day only.
Although it hasn’t been verified, OLA CEO Aggarwal hinted earlier this year in a tweet dated January 25 that the new product would be an automobile. He published a picture of a futuristic-looking car that closely resembles a compact hatchback., and asked us to keep it a secret by its caption.
In this picture, the automobile does have an Ola emblem on the front, but it is unclear if this is the design the Ola car will have. The next teaser said that Ola was producing the sportiest car in India, according to Aggarwal.
About its new vehicle Quality
Ola would face many difficulties if it decides to introduce an electric vehicle, in addition to competing with established brands such as Tata, Hyundai, MG, and others. Thermal performance and quality control are some of these. After their release, the Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters faced many problems, including cases where consumers received faulty or broken vehicles despite having to wait months for delivery.
