Ola Electric and Ather energy facing a sharp drop in July sales: VAHAN data
Ather energy, Ola Electric, and Okinawa Autotech, all of them are facing the biggest drop in this month, as most of the customers avoid purchasing them now. And on the other hand, Hero Electric sold its maximum number of EVs in the month of July.
According to VAHAN data, July sales of Ather energy EV company has been decreased to 1905 (Data as on 30th July). While this figure was 3829 in June 2022. This figure shows the biggest drop in registration this month.
Same way, Ola Electric (run by Bhavish Aggarwal) sold 3690 vehicles in July 2022 (data as on 30th July 2022), while this data was 5891 in June 2022. It is also showing the huge difference in the sales. Ola Electric also facing this problem. It sold 12,705 vehicles in April month of 2022, and this number decreased to 9258 in May 2022.
And if we talk about Hero Electric, it did 8474 registrations this month countrywide. While this number was 6504 in June 2022. The company sold 52559 vehicles this year, which shows a good increased number.
Okinawa was in the number two position with the selling number of 7717 EV-2 vehicles this year.
