Indian carmaker Ola S1 Air electric scooter unveiled as MOST inexpensive EV
With the introduction of its most inexpensive EV (Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter) in the Indian market, Ola Electric is celebrating Diwali this year. The new Ola S1 Air has been introduced by the firm in the Indian market for an initial price of Rs 79,999. The scooter would cost Rs 84,999 after Diwali.
The Ola S1 Air is positioned below the S1 and S1 Pro in the company’s lineup while maintaining a competitive price. As a result, it lacks some features compared to the electric scooter models with greater specifications. To start with, the S1 Air has steel wheels as opposed to the alloy wheels found on the S1 series. In addition, the front end’s suspension system uses telescopic forks rather than the single-sided suspension seen on more expensive models.
Ola S1 Air Design
The side panels of the Ola S1 Air are blacked out toward the lower part. Additionally, the seat has been modified and comes with grab rails that have a traditional appearance. The new flat floorboard on the S1 Air, as opposed to the curved floorboard of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, continues to be the most significant modification. The Indian audience will certainly adore this because of how practical it is. Thank goodness, the scooter only weighs 99 kg and has a 7-inch touchscreen display.
Ola S1 Air Specs
On a full charge, the Air has an eco-mode range of 100 km and a top speed of 85 kmph. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in 4.3 seconds, and its battery capacity is 2.5 kWh while its motor output is 4.5 kW.
Ola Move OS3
Additionally, Ola Electric has introduced the Move OS3 to its line of electric scooters. It comes with ride statistics and party mode. Additionally, the Move OS3 adds hill-hold assistance, party mode, proximity unlock, different screen interfaces, and more. The scooter will run for 200 hours on a single battery while in vacation mode. Registrations for the new software’s beta stage will begin on October 25, according to the business. Additionally, a variety of Ola S1 electric scooter accessories will soon be available in brand stores.
